We have a busy winter coming!
Nov. 22nd- The special Tuesday before Thanksgiving Carrboro market (2:00-6:00pm), pick up your turkeys and all the fixings to go with it.
Jan. 18th-21st- The Southern Sustainable Agriculture Working Groups (SSAWG) annual conference. Alex will be co teaching a day and a half short course on Advance Organic Vegetable Production on the 18th and 19th as well as a panel on managing labor on the farm on the 21st.
Feb. 23-25- the Georgia Organics annual conference. Alex will be doing a half day workshop “It’s All About Soil” on soil management and probably another presentation or two.

Oct. 21st- Rockingham county Ag Extension workshop series. Alex is giving a talk on “30 Years of Building a Farm”
Oct. 26th and 27th- Alex will be giving two, full day workshops for beginning farmers and agricultural extension workers for Louisiana State and Southern Universities.
Nov. 8-10- The ASCFG (Assoc. of Specialty Cut Flower Growers) annual conference, Betsy will be in attendance and running the benefit auction.
Nov. 12th- The Carolina Farm Stewardship Assoc. annual conference, Alex will be on a panel with Amy Tornquist and Andrea Ruesing discussing farm and restaurant working relationships. “From Farm to Restaurant Plate”
