Jan. 8th till early May– Alex is once again teaching Advanced Organic Crop Production at the CCCC Sustainable Ag. program.

April 11th- The Wednesday Market opens for the season, we will probably start on the 17th.

April 17th– Alex will be speaking with an UNC Food class about the Local Food Movement

May 24th- Alex will be speaking at the Regional Poultry Workshop in Louisburg about what worked and didn’t in raising turkeys on pasture.

June 3rd- The annual Farm to Fork Picnic at Fearrington.  This year we are paired with the great folks at Pizzeria Mercato.  An important fundraiser for young farmer training programs.  Tickets now on sale!

 

July 24 and 25– Alex will be giving two full day workshops to beginning and advanced organic farmers in Louisiana, covering the full spectrum of what it takes to run a sustainable operation.

January 18-21– Alex and Jennie will be at the SSAWG conference in Chattanooga, TN talking about our Farm Transition process and more.

Feb. 10th- Alex will be the keynote at the NC Agritunity workshop speaking about how to know your markets and adapting to change.

March 11-13– Alex and Betsy will be in New Orleans, LA at the ASCFG Seasoned Growers Meeting speaking about Transitioning to the Next Generation.

March 20th- Alex and Jennie will be on a panel talking about Farm Transition at NCSU
