These are things we are participating in
Jan. 9th till early May– Alex is once again teaching Advanced Organic Crop Production at the CCCC Sustainable Ag. program.
February 17 and 18- Alex will once again be at the Georgia Organics Conference talking about Whole Farm Management and Crop Trellising and who know what else.
You just missed these events:
October 11th- Alex will be the opening talk for the NC Farm School, talking about 35 years of building a farm business
October 25th-Nov. 7th– Betsy and Alex will be in Italy with Ben and Karen Barker, further exploring markets and the food! don’t worry Jennie will be at market.
November 10th- Alex will be giving a presentation at a NCSU Soils class on using cover crops
November 22nd- the special Tuesday pre-Thanksgiving Carrboro Farmers’ Market. The place to get all of the ingredients for the biggest food holiday of the year!
November 29th- Alex will be speaking to the Eats 101 class at UNC with Ben Barker on running sustainable food businesses and having a 30 plus year working relationship.
December 7 and 8– Alex will be at the Virginia Farm-to-Table Conference presenting on multiple soils topics including our soil management principles, crop rotation and minimum tillage.
January 5-7– Our annual gathering of the Fellowship of Southern Farmers, Artisans and Chefs at Blackberry Farm in Tennessee
