Nov. 21st- the Carrboro Farmers’ Market pre-Thanksgiving market, 3:00-5:00.  Make sure you come out and get all the perfect ingredients for a great Thanksgiving holiday!

Dec. 5th- Alex will be teaching the Eats 101 class and UNC, talking about sustainability on the farm and working with chefs.

January 5-7– Our annual gathering of the Fellowship of Southern Farmers, Artisans and Chefs at Blackberry Farm in Tennessee

Jan. 8th till early May– Alex is once again teaching Advanced Organic Crop Production at the CCCC Sustainable Ag. program.

January 18-21– Alex and Jennie will be at the SSAWG conference in Chattanooga, TN talking about our Farm Transition process and more.

Feb. 10th- Alex will be the keynote at the NC Agritunity workshop speaking about how to know your markets and adapting to change.

March 11-13– Alex and Betsy will be in New Orleans, LA at the ASCFG Seasoned Growers Meeting speaking about Transitioning to the Next Generation.

March 14 & 15– Alex will be giving two full day workshops to beginning and advanced organic farmers in Louisiana, covering the full spectrum of what it takes to run a sustainable operation.

You just missed these events:

August 5th– The Carrboro Farmers’ Market the Peoples Peppers, big day of pepper tastings and related fun.

August 6th– Our annual Southern Season cooking class with our friend Craig LeHoullier, the NC Tomato Man.  As usual, a tomato intensive menu.

August 12 & 19- we will not be at the Saturday market for our summer break.

August 26th- the first day of pepper roasting.  Woohoo!

Sept. 28th– We will be working with The Eddy Pub on a Harvest dinner, probably pepper centric.
